Abstract

Juvenil idiopatik artritler (JİA) en yaygın çocukluk çağı romatizmal hastalıklarıdır.Juvenil idiopatik artritli çocuklar genellikle akut ve kronik ağrı, hareket kısıtlılığı,sabah katılığı, büyüme geriliği, göz sorunları, serbest zamanlarını kısıtlayan hekimziyaretleri, etkinliklere katılımın azalması ve okul devamsızlığı deneyimlemektedirler.JİA’lı çocuk ve gençler psikolojik sorunlar için risk altındadır. Psikiyatrist veromatoloji uzmanı için psikiyatrik belirtilerin varlığının araştırılması, pek çok nedenleönemlidir. Bu yazıda çocukluk çağı JİA’lı hastaların ve ailelerin deneyimledikleripsikososyal sorunlar ve tedavideki güncel yaklaşımlara yer verilmiştir
