Abstract

Abstract
Complicated crown fractures occur in hard tissues (enamel, dentin, pulp) as a result of dental traumatic injuries. In this study, short-term clinical and radiological outcomes of vital pulp treatments using Biodentine in young permanent maxillary central teeth with complicated crown fractures due to dental trauma are discussed. In the selected case, partial (Cvek) amputation was chosen within 24 hours post-trauma. Positive responses to treatment were observed in teeth with closed apices, and restorations were performed using total-etch adhesive systems and composite resin. Accurate diagnosis and treatment approaches are crucial for successful outcomes in these cases. In pediatric dental trauma cases, one should refer to the latest guidelines to manage diagnosis and treatment processes and plan treatments accordingly.
