Absence of Unilateral Permanent Mandibular Second Premolar: A Case Report

Year 2018, , 116 - 120, 01.06.2018
https://doi.org/10.21306/jids.2018.183

Abstract

Excluding third molars, mandibular second premolars are the teeth most often congenitally missing, followed by the maxillary lateral incisors. Spontaneous or orthodontic space closure, removable or fixed partial prosthesis, implant and autotransplantation may be preferred depending on the age of the patient and the condition of the occlusion as a treatment approach in such cases. This case report describes treatment of mandibular midline correction with fixed mechanics after the extraction of permanent mandibular left 1. premolar in a 13-year-old male patient

Unilateral Daimi Mandibular İkinci Premolar Eksikliği: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2018, , 116 - 120, 01.06.2018
