DÎVÂN is a bi-annual, international peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to comparative, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research in the social sciences and humanities. Founded in 1996, it appeared under the name DÎVÂN: Scientific Studies until 2007. Since then, it has been published as DÎVÂN: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies. The journal publishes articles that contain original research and innovative perspectives, a selection of current book reviews and research notes in Turkish and English.

The editorial board decides on the publication of articles based on referee reports. Unpublished articles will not be returned. Authors are responsible for the scientific, linguistic, and legal aspects of their articles.

The articles published in DÎVÂN: Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies are indexed by ULAKBİLİM, Worldwide Political Science Abstracts, Index Islamicus, Ebsco Publishing/MLA International Bibliography and SOBIAD.
