An Investigation of the Effect of Balance Training on Approach (Punto) Accuracy Rate in Boccia Raffa Players

Abstract

A total of 20 athletes with 5 years of bocce experience participated in the study (experiment=10, control=10). Boccia Raffa training was applied to the participants 2 days a week for 8 weeks. In addition to Boccia training, the experimental group underwent a 30-minute balance training program in addition to Boccia training for 8 weeks, the first four weeks of which were static and the last four weeks of which were dynamic. Before and after the 8-week training program, flamingo and star balance tests were performed. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 24 package program. Mann Whitney U was used to determine the differences between the groups, Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used for the intragroup differences independent groups, and, correlation and regression analysis were used to determine the relationship between the two traits. In the raffa approach (punto) accuracy performance, the increase in the experimental rate is 240.68% and the increase in the control groups is 46.77%. According to the Raffa test point angle scores, a significant result was found in the differences between the experimental and control intervals, pre-test and post-test groups (p <.05). According to the findings, Boccia raffa accuracy rates of static and dynamic balance training increased and the dynamic balance performance of Boccia raffa athletes was more effective in the accuracy rate compared to the static balance performance.

Denge Antrenmanlarının Bocce Raffa Oyuncularında Yaklaşma (Punto) İsabetlilik Oranına Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı bocce sporu raffa kategorisindeki oyuncularına uygulanan denge antrenmanlarının yaklaşma (punto) isabetlilik oranına etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya 5 yıl bocce deneyimi olan toplam 20 sporcu katılmıştır (deney=10, kontrol=10). Katılımcılara 8 hafta süresince, haftada 2 gün bocce raffa antrenmanı uygulandı. Deney grubuna bocce antrenmanlarına ek olarak ilk dört hafta statik, son dört hafta dinamik olmak üzere 8 hafta süresince 30 dk’lık denge antrenman programı yaptırıldı. 8 haftalık antrenman programı öncesinde ve sonrasında flamingo (statik denge) ve yıldız denge (dinamik denge) testleri yapıldı. Veriler SPSS 24 paket program kullanılarak analiz edildi. Gruplar arası farklılıkların belirlenmesinde Mann Whitney U, bağımlı gruplarda eş grup içi farklılıklarda Wilcoxon işaretli sıralar testi, iki özellik arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesinde korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri kullanıldı. Raffa isabetlilik performansında deney grubundaki artış %240,68 olurken, kontrol grubundaki artış %46,77’dir. Raffa testi punto açısı puanlarına göre deney ve kontrol grubunda ön test ve son test gruplar arası farklılıklarda anlamlı sonuç tespit edilmiştir (p<,05). Bulgulara göre statik ve dinamik denge antrenmanlarının bocce raffa isabetlilik oranını arttırdığı ve sporcuların dinamik denge performansının statik denge performansına kıyasla, punto yaklaşma açısı isabetlilik oranında daha etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
