Photobiomodulation Therapy in Pediatric Dentistry

Abstract

Photobiomodulation therapy, which is an effective and up-to-date treatment in dentistry, can be beneficial in pediatric dentistry, especially in the treatment of oral diseases, since it is noninvasive and does not cause side effects. In this review, a literature review was conducted to reach current studies on photobiomodulation therapy with low-intensity laser used in pediatric dentistry, and the biostimulatory effect of low-intensity laser use in clinical practice was mentioned. When the literature is examined, it is seen that more clinical research is required to expand the effectiveness and usage areas of photobiomodulation therapy in the field of pediatric dentistry.

"The truest guide for everything in the world, for civilization, for life, for success, is science. Seeking a guide outside of science and science is heedlessness, ignorance, and deviating from the right path. It is only necessary to understand the development of science and science in every minute we live and to follow the progress in time. To attempt to apply the rules of science and science a thousand, two thousand, and thousands of years ago, today, after so many thousand years, is, of course, not to be in science and science."
