KALÇA KIRIKLARINDA MORTALİTE İLİŞKİLİ FAKTÖRLERİN GÖZDEN GEÇİRİLMESİ

Year 2024, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 21 - 35, 29.02.2024

Abstract

Kalça kırıklarının gerek dünya genelinde, gerekse de ülkemizde insidansı artmaktadır. Genellikle yaşlı bireylerde geliştiği bildirilen bu hastalığa bağlı mortalite ve morbidite oranları, tıbbi bakımdaki ve cerrahi tekniklerdeki ilerlemelere rağmen halen yüksek oranda saptanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, kalça kırıklarında mortalite ilişkili faktörler konusundaki literatürün değerlendirilmesi konusunda genel bir bakış sunmaktadır.

REVIEW OF FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH MORTALITY IN HIP FRACTURES

Year 2024, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 21 - 35, 29.02.2024

Abstract

The incidence of hip fractures is increasing both worldwide and in our country. Mortality and morbidity rates related to this disease, which is generally reported to develop in elderly individuals, are still high despite advances in medical care and surgical techniques. This study provides an overview of the literature on mortality-related factors in hip fractures.

"The truest guide for everything in the world, for civilization, for life, for success, is science. Seeking a guide outside of science and science is heedlessness, ignorance, and deviating from the right path. It is only necessary to understand the development of science and science in every minute we live and to follow the progress in time. To attempt to apply the rules of science and science a thousand, two thousand, and thousands of years ago, today, after so many thousand years, is, of course, not to be in science and science."
M. Kemal ATATÜRK
