ANTERIOR KNEE PAIN RELATIONSHIP WITH Q ANGLE

Abstract

Anterior knee pain one of the most friquent patient group for physician who deal with musculesceletal system. Presence of many reason of anterior knee pain ,leads many diffuculties in evaluation of this pain. Purpose of this study is to evaluate increase in Q angle whom is comman and contribution to anterior knee pain.50 patients with pain and 50 pain free randomised,Q angles are measured in both group. Q angle of both groups are compered. Statisticaly there was no differerent in Q angle of both groups(p>0.05). Q angle of groups with pain has 15,87 degree, painless group’s Q angle was 14,74 degree. With the result of this study and results of previous study showed increase in Q angle is not reason,rather it might be result of it.

ÖN DİZ AĞRISININ Q AÇISI İLE İLİŞKİSİ

Abstract

Ön diz ağrısı kas iskelet sistemiyle ilgilenen hekimlerin çok sık karşılaştığı hastalık guruplarından bir tanesidir. Ön diz ağrısını ortaya çıkaran nedenlerin çokluğu, bu hasta gurubunun değerlendirilmesinde zorluklar ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı; ön diz ağrısı yapan nedenler arasında sayılan Q açısındaki artışın, ön diz ağrılı hastalardaki yaygınlığını ve diz ağrısına katkısını araştırmaktır. Rastgele seçilmiş 50 ‘si ağrılı, 50’si ağrısız 100 denek üzerinde ölçümler yaparak, ağrılı ve ağrısız guruplar arasındaki Q açısı farklılıklarını karşılaştırdık. Yapılan istatistiksel çalışmalar sonucunda her iki gurup arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamadı (p>0.05). Ön diz ağrılı gurupta ortalama Q açısı 15,87 derece iken ağrısız gurupta 14,74 dereceydi. Bizim yaptığımız çalışmanın sonuçlarıyla daha önceki yapılan çalışmalar ışığında Q açısı artışının ön diz ağrısında bir nedenden daha çok sonuç olabileceğini düşündük.
