Abstract

Bu makalede Jose Ortega y Gasset'in "Öğretimdeki Ekonomi Prensibi" ve "Üniversitenin Misyonu" başlıklı yazılarından yola çıkarak, onun üniversitelere ve üniversite eğitimine bakışı ele alınmıştır. Ekonomi ve pedagoji arasında bir bağ kuran Ortega "ortalama insan" olarak nitelendirdiği kişiler için üniversitenin görevlerini tam olarak yerine getiremediğine vurgu yapmkatadır. Bu makalede aynı zamanda üniversitenin görevinin neyi- nasıl öğretilmesi olması gerektiğine değinilmektedir. Çağımızın en önemli filozoflarından Ortega y Gasset üniveristenin sorunlarını ele almakta ancak aynı zamanda çözüm üretmeyi de başarmaktadır.

Ortega y Gasset and His University Ideology

Abstract

Through the writings of Ortega y Gasset about "Economy Principle in Teaching" and "The mission of the University", this article discusses the point of view of Ortege to the university and the teachin system in the university. The article also argues the ideas of Ortega such as the connection between economy and pedagogy and the university do not accomplish its mission for the mediocre people. Ortega defends that the mission of the university is to discuss to teaching what and how. One of the most important philosophers of the last century Ortega while discusses the problems, also tries to find a solution.
