Subluxation and Dislocation of the Knee: A Case Report and Review of the Literature

Abstract

Congenital subluxation and dislocation of the knee is a very rare deformity. Its etiology is not clear and it is frequently associated with other muscular disorders. Generally good results have been achieved with early conservative treatment; surgery is rarely neeeded. In this study a case of congenital dislocation of the knee treated conservatively is presented and a review of the literature is given

Konjenital diz subluksasyonu ve çıkığı: Olgu sunumu ve literatür taraması

Abstract

Konjenital diz çıkığı ve subluksasyonu çok nadir bir deformitedir. Etiolojisi kesin değildir ve sıklıkla kas-iskelet sistemi anomalileri ile birlikte görülür. Genellikle erken başlanan konservatif tedavi ile başarılı sonuçlar alınmakta, nadiren de cerrahi tedavi uygulanmaktadır. Bu makale ile yenidoğanda konservatif olarak tedavi edilen bir konjenital diz çıkığı olgusu sunulmuş ve literatür taraması yapılmıştır
