Bilateral Subconjunctival Haemorrhage After Submandibular Gland Surgery

Abstract

Ocular complications after non-ocular surgeries under general anesthesia are unusual. These complications commonly caused by perioperative trauma or unclosed eyes. Development of subconjunctival haemorrhage after non-ocular surgeries is quite rare. We reported bilateral subconjunctival haemorrhage after submandibular sialocele excision under general anesthesia in a 15-year-old female in this case presentation

Submandibular Bez Cerrahisi Sonrası Bilateral Subkonjuktival Hemoraji

Abstract

Genel anestezi altında yapılan göz dışı cerrahiler sonrası oküler komplikasyon gelişimi nadirdir. Bu komplikasyonlar, genellikle cerrahi sırasında travma veya gözün kapatılmamasına bağlı olarak gelişmektedir. Göz dışı ameliyatlar sonrası subkonjunktival hemoraji gelişimi ise oldukça nadirdir. Biz bu olgu sunumunda 15 yaşında genç bayan hastada genel anestezi altında submandibular sialosel eksizyonu sonrası gelişen bilateral subkonjunktival hemorajiyi rapor ettik
