A Rare Form Steatocystoma Multiplex: Predominantly Located on the Face

Abstract

Steatocystoma multiplex is characterized by multiple, widespread cutaneous cystic lesions. These lesions can appear virtually anywhere on the body but are more common in areas where the pilosebaceous apparatus is well developed, such as the trunk (especially the presternal area), neck, axilla, inguinal region, scalp, and proximal extremities. We present a case of a woman with predominantly facially located steatocystoma multiplex. To the best of our knowledge, a predominantly facial distribution has been rarely reported

Nadir Görülen Yüzde Baskın Steatokistoma Multipleks Vakası

Abstract

Steatokistoma Multipleks çok sayıda yaygın kistik deri lezyonları ile karakterizedir. Bu lezyonlar tüm vücutta görülebildiği gibi en sık olarak pilosebase aktivitenin çok olduğu gövde (özellikle göğüs ön yüz), boyun, aksilla,inguinal bölge, saçlı deri ve proksimal ekstremitelerde gözlenir. Biz baskın olarak yüzde görülen Steatokistoma Multipleks lezyonları olan bir bayan hasta bildirdik. Bizim bilgimize göre literatürde baskın olarak yüzde görülen Steatokistoma Multipleks nadir bildirilmiştir
