Intramuscular Lipoma In A Young Girl: Case Report

Abstract

Lipomas are one of the most common benign mesenchimal tumors in human body.Intramuscular (infiltrating) lipoma an extremely rare variant of lipoma. Intramuscular lipomasmay mimic malignant tumors, because of its large size, deep location and their ability to infiltrateadjacent muscles and recur locally. We present an intramuscular lipoma of the scapula in a 15year-old girl and also review the international literature concerning about the clinicalpresentation, microscopically characteristics, differential diagnosis and treatment

Genç Kızda İntramusküler Lipom: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Lipomlar, insan vücudunda en sık görülen benign mezenkimal tümördür. İntramusküler lipom,lipomlar arasında nadir görülür. Bu tümör, büyük çapı, derin yerleşimi, kas dokusunainfiltrasyonu ve lokal nüksü sebebiyle malign tümör taklit edebilir. Bu nedenle intramuskülerlipomu diğer yumuşak doku tümörlerinden ayırıcı tanısı yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, skapulerbölge yerleşimli intramusküler lipoma sahip 15 yaşında bayan hastanın klinikopatolojiközellikleri literatür eşliğinde sunuldu
