Abstract

Chronic ossified subdural haematoma is seen very rarely. Chronic calcified subduralhaematoma may be seen in 0.3% to 2.7% of all chronic subdural haematoma cases. We havepresented a 34 year old female patient with chronic cacified subdural haematoma in leftfrontotemporal region causing compression of nearby tissue, admitting to our out-patient clinicwith the complaints of haedache, convulsions and rare syncopes. We have evaluated surgicalapproach in our patient and in the other cases with chronic calcified subdural haematoma inthe light of literature. We have seen that symptoms decrease in symptomatic patients withcerebral compression after surgical excision of calcified membrane

Ossifiye Kronik Subdural Hematom: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Ossifiye kronik subdural hematom çok nadir görülür. Kalsifiye kronik subdural hematom ise,kronik subdural hematomlu olguların % 0.3 ile %2.7’sinde görülebilir. Polikliniğimize 34yaşında, baş ağrısı, nöbet geçirme ve ara sıra bayılma şikayeti ile başvuran serebral dokudabasıya neden olan sol frontotemporal kalsifiye kronik subdural hematomlu bir bayan hastayısunduk. Hastamızda ve kalsifiye kronik subdural hematomlu olgularda cerrahi yaklaşımı,literatürler ışığında değerlendirdik. Semptomatik, serebral kompresyonunda eşlik ettiği gençhastalarda kalsifiye membranın cerrahi yolla eksize edilmesi sonrası semptomların düzeldiğinigözlemledik
