Lupus vulgaris (LV) is the most commonly encountered form of cutaneous tuberculosis, andthe most common site of involvement is the head and neck. We report the case of a 45-year-oldman with a squamous cell carcinoma arising from a plaque of LV with a 20-year history on themalar region and the neck. The patient presented with a 3-month history of a squamous cellcarcinoma enlarging on the left neck. He has been successfully treated with tumor excision andantituberculous therapy
Lupus vulgaris, kutanöz tüberkülozun en yaygın karşılaşılan formudur ve en sık baş- boyunbölgesi tutulur. Biz, 20 yıldır yanak ve boyun bölgesinde LV plaklarından gelişen skuamözhücreli karsinom olan 45 yaşında erkek hasta rapor ettik. Boyun sol tarafta, 3 aydır büyüyenskuamöz hücreli karsinom olan hasta sunuldu. Hasta, tumor eksizyonu ve antitüberküloz tedavisiile başarılı olarak tedavi edildi
