General Anaesthesia For Dentistry : A Review

Year 2013, Volume: 15 Issue: 1, 68 - 72, 01.03.2013

Abstract

In modern practice the majority of procedures are performed with local anesthesia alone.Sometimes local anesthesia may be insufficient. In such cases sedation or general anesthesiacan be performed. Patients needing general anesthesia include non compatible children, thosewith allergy to local anesthetics, and adults with special needs. Although general anestheticprocedure has advantageous, it should be noted that there are some risks and must be performedonly in hospitals by an anesthetist. In this review, The aim of this study was to explain general anesthesia for dental procedures

Diş Hekimliği Pratiğinde Genel Anestezi : Derleme

Year 2013, Volume: 15 Issue: 1, 68 - 72, 01.03.2013
