Kadın Voleybolcularda Kor Dayanıklılık, Çeviklik ve Dikey Sıçrama Performansları Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı; kadın voleybolcularda kor kas dayanıklılığı, çeviklik ve dikey sıçrama performansları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Voleybol oyun süresi değişkenlik gösteren, bu süre içerisinde birçok patlayıcı kuvvet gerektiren hareketlerin gerçekleştirildiği bir oyundur. Gövde kas dayanıklılığı alt ve üst ekstremiteler arasında kuvvet aktarımında ve performansın artırılmasında önemlidir. Araştırmaya spor yaşı en az 3 yıl olan 15 gönüllü kadın voleybolcu katılmıştır. Sporcuların çalışmaya başlamadan önce antropometrik ölçümleri (vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu, vücut yağ yüzdesi, beden kütle indeksi) alınmıştır. Sporcuların farklı günlerde aynı zaman diliminde sırasıyla kor kas dayanıklılık, illinois çeviklik ve dikey sıçrama performansları ölçülmüştür. Kor kas dayanılılığı; gövde fleksiyon, gövde ekstansiyon, lateral plank ve düz plank testleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. İstatistiksel analizleri SPSS 22.0 paket programında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin tespiti için spearman korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Kadın voleybolcularda aktif dikey sıçrama ile sağ lateral plank arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde bir ilişki (r=0,558, p<0,05); aktif dikey sıçramayla düz plank arasında pozitif yönde orta düzeyde ilişki (r= 0,573, p<0,05) tespit edilmiştir. Çeviklik performansıyla dikey sıçrama ve kor dayanıklılık arasında ilişki tespit edilmemiştir. Sonuç olarak kadın voleybolcularda bazı kor kaslarının dayanıklılığının sıçrama performansında belirleyici olabileceği söylenebilir. Voleybol antrenman programlarına kor kas dayanıklılığına yönelik hareketlerin eklenmesi önerilmektedir.

The Investigation of the Relationship Between Core Endurance, Agility and Vertical Jump Performance in Female Volleyball Players

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between core muscle endurance, agility and vertical jump performance in female volleyball players. Volleyball is a game that varies in playing time, during which many movements requiring explosive force are performed. Trunk muscular endurance is important in force transfer between upper and lower extremities and in improving performance. Fifteen volunteer female volleyball players with a sporting age of at least 3 years participated in the study. Before starting the study, anthropometric measurements (body weight, height, body fat percentage, body mass index) were taken. Core muscular endurance, Illinois agility and vertical jump performances of the athletes were measured in the same time period on different days. Core muscle endurance was assessed by trunk flexion, trunk extension, lateral plank and straight plank tests. Statistical analyses were performed in SPSS 22.0 package program. Spearman correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the variables. In female volleyball players, there was a moderate positive correlation between active vertical jump and right lateral plank (r=0,558, p<0,05) and a moderate positive correlation between active vertical jump and straight plank (r=0,573, p<0,05). No relationship was found between agility performance and vertical jump and core endurance. As a result, it can be said that the endurance of some core muscles may be a determinant of jump performance in volleyball players. It is recommended to add exercises aimed at core muscle endurance to volleyball training programs.
