SILAR metodu ile hazırlanan CdS ince filmlerinin yapısal yüzeysel ve optik özellikleri üzerinde Mo katkısının etkisi

Year 2018, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 81 - 88, 04.04.2018

Abstract

CdS ve Mo (molibden) katkılı CdS nanopartiküllü (NP) ince filmler cam taban üzerine ardışık iyonik tabaka adsorsiyon ve reaksiyonu (SILAR) yöntemi kullanılarak oda sıcaklığında elde edildi. X- ışını kırınımı (XRD), elektron tarama mikroskopu SEM ve UV-vis spektrofotometresi kullanılarak hazırlanan CdS nanopartiküllü ince filmlerinin yapısal, yüzeysel ve optik özellikleri üzerinde Mo etkisi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, Mo katkılı CdS ince filmlerin gerçek nicelik oranlarını belirlemek için EDS analizi yapıldı. X- ışını kırınım analizi Mo katkılı ince filmlerin ve saf CdS ince filmlerin kübik bir yapıya sahip polikristal olduğunu göstermiştir. Mo katkılı CdS ince filmlerin yüzeyleri katkısız CdS ince film yüzeylerinden daha düzgün olduğu ve molibden katkılı CdS ince filmlerin yüzey morfolojilerini değiştirmiştir. Optik özelliklerini ele aldığımızda ise, katkısız CdS NP ince filminin enerji bant aralığının Mo katkılı CdS NP ince filmlerinin enerji bant aralığından küçük olduğu gözlenmiştir. EDS haritalama sonuçları, Mo katkılı CdS tabakalarında Mo, Cd ve S elementlerinin eşit dağılım gösterdiğini göstermekte olup, Mo iyonlarının yüzey üzerinde birlikte birikmeden ziyade CdS tabakalarına düzgün şekilde katkıda bulunabileceğini göstermektedir. Mo katkılı CdS ince filmlere ait foton-akım dönüşüm verimi (IPCE) ölçümleri ve I-V ölçümleri yapılarak, ince filmlerin fotovoltaik özellikleri incelendi. Nanopartikül yapıya sahip ince filmlerin güneş pil verimliliği birbiri ile karşılaştırıldığında, saf ve Mo katkılı CdS NP’lerin güneş pil cihazları için uygun malzemeler olarak kullanılabileceği görülmüştür.
