Düşük yük koşullarında tek silindirli dizel motorun yanma ve emisyonlarına toluen içeriğinin etkisinin sayısal olarak incelenmesi

Abstract

19. yüzyılın başından itibaren adım adım gelişen içten yanmalı motorlar, günümüzde insanoğlunun yaşamın tüm alanlarında etkin rol almaktadırlar. Özellikle dizel motorlar yüksek verimleri nedeniyle birçok alanda yaygın olarak kullanılmakladır. Bu avantajına rağmen, dizel motorların çevre ve insan sağlığı açısından zararlı etkileri olan emisyonların azaltılması gibi çözmesi gereken problemleri mevcuttur. Yapılan çalışmada dizel motorlarda motor performansında herhangi bir azalma olmadan zararlı emisyonların azaltılması için tolüen kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada dizele %10’dan %40’a %10 artırılarak ilave edilen tolüenin motor performans ve emisyonlara etkisi sayısal olarak incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada test koşulları %20 sabit motor yükü ve 2400 d/d olarak belirlenmiştir. Sayısal çalışma için ANSYS-FORTE adlı paket programı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, dizel içindeki tolüen oranının %40’a kadar artırılmasının tüm testlerde optimum olarak hem motor performansı hem de emisyonları üzerinde olumlu etkisi olmuştur. Özellikle %10 oranında tolüen kullanımında (T10) CO ve HC emisyonunda %61 ve %43 oranlarında azalma meydana gelirken, NOx emisyonunda %35 oranında artış olmuştur. Ayrıca motor performansı adına önemli olan termik verim ve OİB’nin de T10 kullanımında %8.5 ve %8 oranlarında arttığı belirlendi. Termik verim, OİB, CO ve HC emisyonlarında oldukça önemli sonuçların elde edildiği T10 yakıtının dizel motorların geleceği için öneli rol oynaması beklenmektedir.
