Peripheral Osteoma of the Hard Palate: Case Report

Year 2011, Volume: 38 Issue: 2 - Volume: 38 Issue: 2, 77 - 81, 01.05.2011

Abstract

Peripheral osteoma is a benign osteogenic tumour which is composed of varying degrees of cancellous and compact bone. Maxillofacial peripheral osteomas are mostly seen in paranasal sinus cavities and on jaws. Mandibular peripheral osteomas are relatively frequent than maxillary peripheral osteomas. In this case report a rare hard palate localization of maxillary peripheral osteoma is presented and surgical treatment is discussed

Sert damakta periferal osteoma: vaka raporu

Year 2011, Volume: 38 Issue: 2 - Volume: 38 Issue: 2, 77 - 81, 01.05.2011
