Ilknur Özcan, was born in Kars on 1962. She began her dentistry education in1981 and completed the education in 1987. She became associate professor in 1995 .She became Professor in 2001. She is still academic personal in the Biruni University Department of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology.

Ahmet Faruk ERTÜRK was born on 1990 in Çorum. He started his dentistry education at Kocaeli University Faculty of Dentistry in 2008 and completed it in 2015. Ahmet Faruk ERTÜRK, who started his doctorate education at Istanbul University Health Sciences Institute in 2017, worked at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry between 2020-2022. He continues his duty, which he started as a assistant professor in the Department of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology at Biruni University, Faculty of Dentistry, in 2022.

Dr. Revan Birke Koca Ünsal (DDS, PhD) is a periodontist and dental researcher based in London, Ontario, Canada. She currently serves as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

Dr. Koca Ünsal previously held academic appointments as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Kyrenia. Her clinical and academic expertise spans periodontology, implant dentistry, and surgical management of hard and soft tissues.

She has authored and co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications in SCI, ESCI, and Scopus-indexed journals, along with multiple book chapters in international academic volumes. Her work covers periodontal biology, regenerative approaches, and the application of artificial intelligence and advanced imaging technologies in dentistry, including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and experimental research.

Dr. Koca Ünsal is involved in international scientific collaborations and has contributed to the ITU/WHO Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health (FG-AI4H), particularly in dental diagnostics and digital dentistry . She serves as a reviewer for high-impact international journals and is currently working as a Section Editor in Eurasian Dental Research which is an international peer-reviewed journal.

In addition to her research activities, she has delivered presentations at international scientific congresses and has been invited as a keynote speaker at national academic meetings. Her academic work focuses on integrating emerging technologies into clinical dentistry and advancing evidence-based practice.

Curriculum Vitae Prof Meltem Koray DDS,PhD, PhD

She graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1989. In 1995 she received her first PhD which was titled ‘The effects of flourides and/or trace elements on the solubilities of enamel and cementum’ at the Department of Restorative Dentistry in the same dentistry faculty. After her first PhD, Dr.Koray studied at the Department of Oral Diagnosis and Radiology between 1996-2001. In 2008 she received her second PhD which was titled ‘The evaluation of oral health related quality of life and anxiety values in patients with active or inactive minor recurrent apthous stomatitis” at the Department of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine in the same dentistry faculty. In 2010 she gained Associate Professor degree at the department of Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine at Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry. She became a full proffessor in Septembre 28th 2020 She is a member of TAOMS (Turkish Society of Oral Medicine and Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons), EAOM (European Association of Oral Medicine), IJOMS (International Journal of Oral an Maxillofacial Surgery) and ACBID (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society). She is in Editorial Board member of Eurasian Dental Research, International Journal of Dentistry and Oral Science and Acta Scientific Dental Sciences. Also she is a reviwer many scientific journals. She still works in the same department as a full Professor. She has authored more than 80 articles and her articles cited over 500 times. Her h index is 13.

In 2003, she became in Marmara University as an assistant professor and since 2003, she has been performing doctoral and later on postdoctoral research on oral medicine and oral radiology. In 2007, she is a guest researcher at the Section of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology Department of Radiology, Sunderby Hospital in Lulea, Sweden. She became a professor in 2016. She served as a member of Congress Committee and Central Council, European Academy of DentoMaxillofacial Radiology in 2012. She has over 100 international and national publications on peer-reviewed journals. She is in the editorial and advisory board of some journals on her field.
