In the biographical sources, there are seven poets who use pseudonym "Umidi". One of these poets is Umidi Pasha. There is not much information about the life of Umidi Pasha in the sources. 16th century divan poet Umidi Pasha is the son of Salih Pasha, one of the captains of the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent. He is also a sailor and a pasha like his father. The birth year of the poet, who was born in Istanbul, is unknown. The poet died in 946 (1539-1540). This study is about Umidi Pasha's Divance. The only copy of Umidi's Divance we can reach is in the National Library Turkish Manuscripts Department It is included in the journal of divans registered in archive number 06 Mil. B 191/5. There are 61 ghazals and 1 eulogy in Umidi's Divance, which is composed according to the letter of revi. In the study, firstly, information will be given about the poets who use pseudonym "Umidi", then Divance will be introduced. At the end of the study, the transcripted text of fifteen ghazals from Divance will be given as an example.
