Abstract

Kör Nesib , a famous ashug (folk singer) of Akbaba-Childir ashug environment, is the last Azerbaijanian folk singer of the area who has combined in his activity three components music, verse and singing. The ashug, who has spent his life in the epoch of the tsar and Soviet Russia had always a national and fighting spirit. He has never praised Lenin, socialism and the Soviet regime in his writings and criticized the policy of the bolsheviks, reproaching the anti-Turkish policy of the joint Russian-Armenian forces against the Turks in Akbaba province. Therefore during the Soviet regime he has always been kept under control, his poems were prohibited to be published, and his creative activity has not been researched. After Azerbaijanian got its independence his creative activity was given a due attention to, his poems were collected and published

Ünlü Azeri Aşık Kör Nasip

Abstract

Akbaba-Çıldır âşık muhitinin tanınmış üstadı Kör Nesip Anadolu ve Azerbaycan âşık mekteplerini sanat geleneği, saz-söz-icra yönüyle birleştiren son Azerbaycan âşığıdır. Hayatı çarlık Rusya ve Sovyet Rusya döneminde geçen âşığın sanatı milliyetçilik ve rejime isyan ruhuyla doludur. Lenin’i, sosyalizmi, Sovyet düzenini öven bir tek mısra olsun şiir yazmayan Kör Nesip bolşeviklerin politikasını şiddetle eleştirmiş, Akbaba bölgesinde oturan Türklere karşı Rus-Ermeni işbirliğini kınamıştır. Buna göre de Sovyet döneminde zaman zaman göz hapsine alınan Kör Nesib’in şiirleri yasaklanmış, derlenmemiş, basılmamış, sanatı araştırılmamıştır. Azerbaycan bağımsızlığına kavuştuktan sonra Kör Nesib’in sanatına ilgi artmış, şiirleri ağızlardan derlenmiş, kitap halinde neşredilmiştir
