AVRASYA BÖLGESİNDEKİ TÜRK CUMHURİYETLERİNİN ENERJİ KAYNAKLARI VE İLETİM HATLARININ TÜRKİYE’YE KATKILARI

Abstract

Ekonomik ve sosyal kalkınmanın önemli girdilerinden birisini oluşturan enerjinin dünyanın geleceğindeki önemli konumu her geçen gün artmaktadır. Günümüzde, tüm dünyada ekonomisi hızla büyüyen ülkelerde fosil yakıt tüketiminin hızla artmakta oluşu nedeniyle, büyük ülkeler, bu enerji kaynaklarına sahip olmayı, üretimini gerçekleştirmeyi ve iletim hatlarını denetim altına almayı istemektedirler. Sovyetler Birliği’nin dağılmasından sonra bu ülkelerin ilgisi Avrasya bölgesindeki enerji kaynaklarına yönelmiştir. Dolayısıyla birçok ülke ve çokuluslu şirket, bu bölgedeki enerji kaynaklarının üretimi ve dünya piyasalarına ulaştırılması için gerekli olan boru hatları üzerinde söz sahibi olabilmek amacıyla büyük bir rekabete girmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Avrasya bölgesinde yer alan Türk Cumhuriyetleri’nin sahip olduğu enerji kaynakları ve iletim hatlarının, hem üretici ülkelere, hem de bu ülkelerle dünya piyasaları arasında bir koridor oluşturan Türkiye’ye katkıları incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle dünya ve gelişmiş ülkelerin enerji talebi ile genelde Avrasya bölgesi, özelde de Hazar Bölgesindeki enerji kaynaklarının önemi üzerinde durulmuş, daha sonra bu bölgedeki Türk Cumhuriyetleri’nin petrol ve doğal gaz rezervleri, üretimleri ve iletim hatları incelenmiştir. Son olarak da petrol ve doğal gazın, uluslararası piyasalara taşınması için oluşturulmak istenen enerji boru hatları ile ilgili ayrıntılı bilgiler verilmiş ve bu boru hatlarının Türkiye ve Türk Cumhuriyetleri ekonomisine etkileri tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca, Türkiye’yi bir enerji köprüsü yapacak boru hatları ve özellikle BaküTiflis-Ceyhan petrol boru hattı (BTC)’na yer verilmiştir

Energy Sources and Pipelines of the Turkic Republics in the Euroasian Region Contributions to Turkey

Abstract

Forming the important input of the economical and social development, the important status in the world’s future of the energy has been increasing every day. Developed countries want to have these energy sources, to produce the energy and also want to control the transmission lines since in these days all over the world fossil fuel consumption has been increasing rapidly in the developing countries. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the developed countries turned their interest to the energy sources in the Euroasian region.Therefore, many countries and multinational companies started to compete with each other in order to have the authority on the energy production and on the pipelines, which are used to transmit to the world market. In this study, the energy sources and transmission lines of the Turkic Republics in the Euroasian region, and their contributions to the producing countries and to Turkey have been searched. Turkey creates the corridor between these countries and the world market. In this way, first the energy request of the world and developed countries and the importance of the energy sources have been analyzed in general in the Eurasia region and in particular in the Caspian region. Secondly petrol and natural gas reserves, productions and transmission pipelines have been examined. Finally, the detailed information about the energy pipelines, which are being planned to be created in order to transmit the petrol and the natural gas to the international market have been given. The effects of the petrol pipe lines to the economy of Turkey and the Turkic Republics have been discussed. In addition, especially Bakü-Tiflis-Ceyhan petrol pipe line and the pipe lines, which will make Turkey an energy bridge have been searched
