Abstract

Kutadgu Bilig müşterek Orta Asya Türkçesinin en önemli metinlerinden biridir. Kutadgu Bilig birçok açıdan olduğu gibi Türkçenin sözvarlığının tam olarak belirlenmesi açısından da önemlidir. Bu çalışmada Kutadgu Bilig’deki bitki adları ele alınmıştır. Bunun için Arat’ın Kutadgu Bilig ile ilgili yayımlarından yararlanılmıştır. Kutadgu Bilig’de on yedi farklı bitki elli sekiz örnekte geçmektedir. Bunlardan bir bölümü temel anlamıyla bir bölümü de yan anlamıyla kullanılmıştır

Names of herbs in “Knowledge for Wealth” (Kutadgu Bilig)

Abstract

“Knowledge for Wealth” is the one of the most important text of Turkish language of Middle Asia. “Knowledge for Wealth” has great importance from the point of view of development of lexicon of Turkish language. İn this work have been considered names of plants, which were mentioned in “Knowledge for Wealth”. For this purpose we used the Arat’s publications of “Knowledge for Wealth”. İn “Knowledge for Wealth” in fifty eight examples were mentioned seventeen names of various herbs. One part of them was used in direct meaning, another part was used in figurative meaning
