Abstract

Entelektüel etkinlik, düşünürken şaşırmanın, hayrette kalmanın, düşünce sonucunda elde edilen tatları -acı ya da tatlı- toplumla paylaşmanın adıdır. Entelektüel, bir taraftan olay, nesne ve olguların niteliğini kavramaya çalışırken diğer taraftan bu olay olgu ve nesnelerin nasıl o duruma geldiğini, ne duruma gelmesi gerektiğini düşünür. A. Hamdi Tanpınar bir uygarlık dönüşümünü içinde yaşamış, yaşadıklarını yapıtlarına yansıtmış, yaşadıklarıyla ilgili olarak sorular sormuş bir sanatçımızdır

Identity of an Intellectual and Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar as an Intellectual

Abstract

An intellectual activity is to bewilder when thinking and to share all the fruits of thinking process with the society – whether they are favorable or not. While trying to understand the very state or an event, object and phenomena, an intellectual, on the other hand, thinks of how these events, objects and phenomena happened to take that course of actions. An intellectual at the same time exert an effort as to how they should have been. A. Hamdi Tanpınar is a man of literature that yielded many works almost in every field and lived through a transition of civilization reflecting his lively experience in his works and asking striking questions on/ about what went through In this study, the intellectual identity both in the West and in our country is taken in
hand the reference is made to A. Hamdi Tanpınar regarding the literary and philosophical place
he occupied in our life.
