Abstract
Nasihatnameler, bilhassa genç nesillere öğüt ve ders vermek amacı ile kaleme alınmış
ve atasözleri, deyimler, ayet ve hadisler, kelâm-ı kibarlar ve din ulularının sözlerini
bulunduran öğretici nitelikteki eserlerdir. 16. yüzyıl şairi olup Kanunî’nin Bağdat seferi
sırasında ölen Hızrî’nin 1531 yılında Amasya’da yazdığı, ahlakî öğüt veren “Âb-ı
Hayât” bir nasihatnamedir. Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi’nin Hacı Mahmud Efendi Bö-
lümünde biri 3636, diğeri 3502 nolu iki adet yazma nüsha olarak bulunmaktadır.
Âb-ı Hayât, aruzun “ Me fâ î lün / Me fâ î lün / Fe û lün ”, kaside ve bendleri
ise, “Fâilâtün / Fâilâtün / Fâilâtün / Fâilün” kalıbı ile yazılmıştır. İfadesi, yapmacıksız,
açık ve kolay; dili zariftir. Şair, eserinde ses güzelliğinden ziyade anlama önem vermiştir.
Abstract
The Nasihatnames are didactic works, which include proverbs, phrases, verses, hadits,
Islamic thelogy and the words of religious scientists and are written with the aim to
give advice and lessons especially to younger generations. Ab-ı Hayat is a Nasihatname,
which gives moral advice and Hızri who died during the Bagdat campaign of Kanuni
and was the 16 th century poet, wrote in 1531 in Amasya. It is found in pieces
manuscript copies with one number “3636”, the other number “3502” the department
of Hacı Mahmud Efendi of Suleymaniye Library.
Ab-ı Hayat’s measure is written in the pattern "Mefâîlun / Mefâîlun / Feûlun".
Ab-ı Hayat’s eulogy and bend are written in the pattern "Fâilâtun / Fâilâtun / Fâilâtun
/ Fâilun". It’s expression is naturel unaffected, open and easy, his the language is
elegance. Hızri gives importance to the meaning rather than the beauty of the sound
in his work.
