Abstract
Yansımalar, dilin en çok tartışılan sözcük türlerinden biridir. Canlı cansız bütün varlıkların çıkardıkları sesleri yansıtan; dış görünüşlerini, hareketlerini betimle- yen; insanların yalnız kendilerinin hissedebildiği duyuları, sezimleri deri, koku ve tat alma yoluyla hissettiren sözcüklerdir. Hemen hemen her dilde yüzlerce örneği bulunan bu sözcüklerin, Oğuzcanın tarihi ve filolojik bakımından son de- rece önemli bir yadigârı olan Dede Korkut hikâyelerinde hiç de azımsanmayacak kadar çok örneğinin bulunduğunun tespitini yapıp, elimizdeki malzemeyi görev ve anlamlarına göre yansıma sınıflandırmasına tabi tuttuk. En eski söz türlerin- den biri olan yansımalar tarihi kaynaklarda da tüm görev ve anlam özellikleriyle yerini almış olduğu görülmektedir
Abstract
Reverberations or reflections “imitative words, onomatopoeia” are one of the
most controversial categories of words in language. They reflect all the sounds
made by living or dead creatures. They describe their appearances and actions.
These words provide an explanation through taste, smell and touch about the
senses felt only by individual himself. There are hundreds of examples of these
words in all languages. Regarding that there are sizeable numbers of examples of
these kinds of words in the Dede Korkut Stories -an important philological and
historical inheritance of the Oguz language – they were categorized according to
their meanings and functions. It is evidenced that reverberations and reflections,
which are after all one of the oldest forms of words, take their rightful place with
regard to their specific meaning and functions in historical materials.
