Abstract

Konstantin Nikolayeviç Leontyev on dokuzuncu yüzyıl Rus sosyal düşünce tarihinde eşsiz bir yer almıştır. O, aşırı tutucu bir politik düşünür, ede- biyat eleştirmeni ve yazardı. Kırım’da doktor olarak çalıştıktan sonra Rus diplo- matik servisine girdi ve sekiz yıl Girit adasında ve Balkanlarda konsolos olarak çalıştı. K. N. Leontyev’in en bilinen romanı “Pembe”dir. Bu roman bir Çingene kızı ve bir Arnavut beyi arasındaki aşkı anlatmaktadır. K. N. Leontyev’in roma- nında bu aşka ek olarak Osmanlı İmparatorluğundaki Balkan halklarının temsil- cileri analiz edilmektedir

Abstract

Konstantin Nikolaevich Leontiev (1831-1891) occupied a unique place in the
history of social thought in the 19
th
Century Russia. He was an ultra-conservative
political philosopher, literary critic and novelist. After working as a doctor in
Crimea, he entered the Russian diplomatic service and worked for eight years as
a consular official in the island Crete and in the Balkans. K. N. Leontiev’s bestknown
novel is “Pink”. This novel describes a love story between a Gypsy girl
and an Albanian ruler. In addition this love, the novel analyzes representatives
and stereotypes of other peoples of the Ottoman Balkans.
