İzmir Körfezi (Ege Denizi)’nde Benekli Hanibalığı Serranus hepatus (Linnaeus, 1758)’nın Biyometrik Özellikleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, İzmir Körfezi’nde yayılış gösteren Benekli hanibalığı Serranus hepatus (Linnaeus, 1758)’nın bazı biyometrik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Ocak 2002 - Mayıs 2002 tarihleri arasında incelenen toplam 204 örneğin en küçük ve en büyük tam boy değerleri sırasıyla 60 mm, 111 mm olarak belirlenmiştir. Türün tam boy-standart boy ilişkisi: TL=1,0452*SL+1,322 (r2 =0,923), tam boy- ağırlık ilişkisi ise: W=0,0096*TL3.223 (r2 =0,957) olarak hesaplanmıştır. Ayrıca örneklerden toplam 10 adet morfometrik ölçüm yapılmıştır. Bunlar sırasıyla; pre-anal uzunluk (X1), pre-pektoral uzunluk (X2), baş yüksekliği (X3), vücut yüksekliği (X4), vücut derinliği (X5), kaudal pedinkül yüksekliği (X6), göz çapı (X7), pre-orbital uzunluk (X8), baş boyu (X9) ve gözler arası mesafe (X10)’dir. Sonuç olarak, morfometrik karakterlere göre eşeyler arasında seksüel dimorfizme rastlanmamıştır .

Biometric Properties of the Brown Comber, Serranus hepatus (Linnaeus, 1758), from the Izmir Bay (Aegean Sea)

Abstract

In this study was investigated the some biometric properties of the Brown comber, Serranus hepatus (Linnaeus, 1758), population in Izmir Bay (Aegean Sea). Minimum and maximum total lengths of 204 sample collected from Izmir Bay between January 2002 and May 2002 were determined as 60 and 111 mm, respectively. The total length (TL)–standard length (SL) relationship was computed TL=1,0452*SL+1,322 (r2 =0.923) and total length (TL)-weight (W) relationship was computed W=0,0096*TL3.223 (r2 =0,957). Ten morphometric characters of samples were measured. These characteristics were preanal distance (X1), prepectoral distance (X2), head height (X3), body height (X4), body depth (X5), caudal pedincule height (X6), eye diameter (X7), pre-orbital length (X8), head length (X9), and interorbital distance (X10). According to morphometric characteristics, there was no sexual dimorphism between sexes.
