Aim & Scope

The concentration of the papers is expected from world's oldest continents Europe and Asia as environment and geographical areas. The forest biomes are addressed from boreal to temperate climates. This journal also regards to the contemporary global ecological issues on which worldwide attention is given such as climate change, disappearing species and new genetic adaptations and related effects of those on ecosystems. The original research results from all Asian and European countries are expected and will be evaluated. The language of the papers are accepted in English as the main body of the text with short abstract in English too. All the papers will be peer-reviewed with a 4 weeks turnaround time from submission to publication where the referees, authors and the editors remain unknown during the double blind peer-review process. This journal consequently wishes to public the knowledge essentially about recent analysis of the forest ecosystems for both foresters and the forest scientists.

Eurasian Journal of Forest Science is published 3 times per year in the electronic media and publishes editorials, research articles, reviews, short communications and technical reports dealing with all aspects of forest sciences such as forest ecology (both fundamental and applied, physiological ecology, ecology of population, community, ecosystem, landscape as well as global ecology, ecosystem modelling and planning), plant physiology, forest management & planning, forest soils and applications, forest protection and forest damages, tree growth and yield, forest production, wood technology, forest policy.
