A Rare Nasoalveolar Region Schwannoma

Abstract

Schwannomas are benign tumors arising from Schwann cells in peripheral, cranial, and autonomic nerve sheaths. Approximately 50% of schwannomas in the whole body are observed in the head and neck region. The present study reported a case of a 16-year-old female patient diagnosed with a schwannoma following total excision.
