Sustainability of institutional cultural heritage: Analysis of bibliography of the general directorate of state hydraulic works general directorate (DSI) technical bulletin journal

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the DSI General Directorate Technical Bulletin Journal (1964-2026) in detail from an academic perspective and to provide a general bibliographic analysis of the journal. To this end, we aimed to analyze academic studies conducted on this topic in previous years. The study is based on a descriptive model and utilizes bibliometric methods and graphical analyses in data analysis. Bibliometric analysis and graphical visualizations were performed using the bibliographic analysis analytical tool. A literature review on the subject revealed similar bibliometric analysis studies related to the topic. Drawing on these studies, we developed a bibliographic analysis of the DSI General Directorate Technical Bulletin Journal, the focus of this article. A study was conducted on bibliometric analysis, a highly effective application/research method in the academic community, with the aim of providing future predictions and drawing concrete conclusions about the current situation. The analysis revealed that the continuity of institutional technical bulletins is crucial for the efficient and sustainable continuation of cultural heritage products. A strategic analysis of the DSI General Directorate Technical Bulletin Journal offers valuable insights for archivists and information specialists involved in digital preservation and heritage management. The study findings highlight the need for a higher rate of bibliographic analysis of academic journals that contribute to information centers.
