Visualization Of The Flow With PIV In Rectangular Channels

PIV systems are basically based on fog density, laser light intensity, and camera combination. In order to obtain an accurate flow field and flow vectors in a flow imaging process, the intensity of the fog and the intensity of the laser beam must be set correctly. In addition, it is necessary to prevent reflections in the wave-size range that cause noise from the test setup surfaces. In this study, the test section surfaces of the experimental setup were painted with special paint to prevent the reflections from these surfaces. Furthermore, special filters were also used to capture the laser beams in the appropriate wavelength within the image-receiving cameras. Careful should be taken when choosing the proper installation configuration for PIV systems. By taking these criteria into account, the flow was visualized in rectangular cross-section channels using the PIV system
PIV sistemleri temelde, sis yoğunluğu, lazer ışığı şiddeti ve kamera kombinasyonuna dayanır. Bir akış görüntüleme işleminde doğru bir akış alanı ve akış vektörleri elde edebilmek için sis yoğunluğu ve lazer ışığı siddeti doğru ayarlanmalıdır. Bunlara ilaveten deney düzeneği yüzeylerinden gürültüye neden olan dalga boyutu aralığındaki yansımaların önlemesi gerekir. Bu çalışmada test odası yüzeylerinden yansımaların önlenmesi hususunda deney düzeneği test bölgesi özel boya kullanılarak boyanmıştır. Ayrıca görüntü alan kameralar içinde uygun dalga boyuntundaki lazer ışınlarını alabilecek özel filtreler kullanılmıştır. PIV sistemleri için uygun kurulum yapılandırmasını seçerken dikkatli olunması gerekir. Bu kriterler dikkate alınarak dikdörtgen kesitli kanallarda akış PIV sistemi kullanılarak görselleştirilmiştir.
