Abstract

In this study Neopulvinaria innumerabilis (Rathvon, 1854) (Hemiptera: Coccidae) was recorded on ornamental plant, mulberry and grape-vine in park and gardens of Ankara province, Turkey between 2008 and 2011. Brief information is provided about its morphological characters, biology, distribution, hosts and damage.

Abstract

Ankara parklarında ve bahçelerinde 2008-2011 yıllarında yapılan surveyler sırasında bazı çok yıllık süs bitkiler, dut ve asmalarda Neopulvinaria innumerabilis (Rathvon, 1854) (Hemiptera: Coccidae)’in yaygın ve zararlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu türün bazı önemli morfolojik özellikleri, yayılışı, konukçuları, biyolojisi ve zararı hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
