A study on the Sciocorini Amyot & Serville, 1843 and Strachiini Mulsant & Rey, 1866 (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae: Pentatominae) faunas of the Kelkit Valley (Turkey)
Abstract
Seven species belonging to 3 genus within the Sciocorini Amyot & Serville, 1843 tribe and 9 species belonging to 3 genus within the Strachiini Mulsant & Rey, 1866 tribe were determined during field studies performed in 2005 and 2007 in different localities in Kelkit Valley inside the city borders of Erzincan, Giresun, Gümüşhane, Sivas and Tokat. 10 of these species are first records for the study area Kelkit Valley whereas 3 species are new records for Black Sea Region. Menaccarus arenicola (Scholtz, 1847) and Trochiscocoris rotundatus rotundatus Horváth, 1895 are species with a rather rare distributional range for Turkey Heteroptera fauna.

Abstract
2005-2007 yılları arasında Gümüşhane, Erzincan, Giresun, Sivas ve Tokat illeri içinde yer alan Kelkit Vadisi'nde farklı lokalitelerde yapılan arazi çalışmalarında Sciocorini Amyot & Serville, 1843 tribüsünden 3 cinse bağlı 7 tür, Strachiini Mulsant & Rey, 1866 tribüsünden 3 cinse bağlı 9 tür tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen türlerden 10 tanesi araştırma bölgesi Kelkit Vadisi'nde ilk defa kaydedilirken 3 tür aynı zamanda Karadeniz Bölgesi için de ilk kayıttır. Menaccarus arenicola (Scholtz, 1847) ve Trochiscocoris rotundatus rotundatus Horváth, 1895 Türkiye Heteroptera faunası için oldukça nadir dağılımlı türlerdir.
