Abstract

This study was carried out in order to observe the feeding behaviors of Anechura bipuntata (Fabricius, 1781) in May, 2011. Adult and immature stages of A. bipunctata feed particularly on flowers and aboveground organs of Astragalus microcephalus Willd. and Trifolium repens L.. Thus, this observation is the first record in terms of determining the feeding behavior of the species.

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Anechura bipunctata (Fabricius, 1781) (Dermaptera: Forficulidae) türünün arazi koşullarında beslenme davranışlarının gözlemlenmesi amacıyla Mayıs 2011’de yürütülmüştür. A. bipunctata’nın ergin ve ergin öncesi dönemlerinin Astragalus microcephalus Willd. (Geven) ve Trifolium repens L. (Üçgül) türlerinin çiçek başta olmak üzere toprak üstü organları ile beslendikleri belirlenmiştir. Bu gözlem türün beslenme davranışıyla ilgili ilk kayıt niteliğindedir.
