Eupalopsellus prasadi Bagheri & Khanjani 2009 (Acari: Eupalopsellidae), a new record for the mite fauna of Turkey

Abstract

Females of Eupalopsellus prasadi Bagheri and Khanjani 2009, (Acari: Eupalopsellidae) were collected from the colony of Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) which are harmful on grown apple trees (Malus domestica Borkh. (Rosaceae)) in Bigalı village at Eceabat, Çanakkale. This is a new record for the Turkish fauna.

Öz

Özet Eupalopsellus prasadi Bagheri and Khanjani 2009, (Acari: Eupalopsellidae)’ nin dişi bireyleri Çanakkale’nin Eceabat ilçesine bağlı Bigalı Köyü’nde yetiştiriciliği yapılan elma (Malus domestica Borkh. (Rosaceae)) ağaçlarında zararlı olan Tetranychus urticae Koch. (Acari: Tetranychidae) kolonileri üzerinden elde edilmiştir. Eupalopsellus prasadi Bagheri and Khanjani 2009, Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıttır.
