Information Technology in Instruction for Sustainable Development

Abstract

Sustainable
development is one of the important possible subject for the progress of the
national and international economy in the aspect of the deepening of global
human problems. Sustainable

development is
among the
research topics of all disciplines as a global problem. For this reason,
development should not be considered just economic growth. Sustainable
development must be the basis for the development of instructional technologies
in the transition to knowledge economy.  In
this context, instructional technologies are resource used to facilitate the
learning process and to ensure efficiency. The evaluation of information
technologies in the perspective of development is important in terms of
acquiring sector vision. The purpose of this study is to show the cross cutting
of instruction information technologies and development. For this purpose,
firstly the instructional technologies and usage areas were searched and then
the factors effecting development were tried to be determined. The data in the study
were obtained from market surveys, economic data, statistical studies and
development studies. It has been found that the information technologies are
influential on the development factors such as production, employment, economic
efficiency, HDI value. According to the values obtained in this study, it has
been understood that the instructional technologies effect both economic growth
and welfare in terms of both individual and societal.

Abstract

Sürdürülebilir kalkınma, küresel insan sorunlarının
derinleşmesi açısından ulusal ve uluslararası ekonominin ilerlemesi için mümkün
olan en önemli konulardan biridir. Sürdürülebilir kalkınma küresel bir sorun
olarak tüm disiplinlerin araştırma konuları arasındadır.

Bu nedenle kalkınma sadece ekonomik
büyüme gibi değerlendirilmemelidir.
Sürdürülebilir
kalkınma, bilgi ekonomisine geçişte bilişim teknolojisinin geliştirilmesi için
temel olmalıdır. Bu bağlamda bilişim teknolojileri, öğrenme sürecini
kolaylaştırması ve verimlilik sağlaması için kullanılan bir kaynaktır. Bilişim
teknolojilerinin kalkınma açısından değerlendirilmesi, sektöre vizyon kazandırmak
açısından önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilişimdeki bilişim teknolojileri ile
kalkınmanın kesişim noktalarını ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla önce bilişim
teknolojileri ve kullanım alanları araştırılmış daha sonra kalkınmayı etkileyen
unsurlar belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmadaki veriler, piyasa
araştırmaları, ekonomik veriler, istatistiksel çalışmalar ve kalkınmayla ilgili
çalışmalardan elde edilmiştir. Verilerin
bilişim teknolojilerinin üretim, istihdam, ekonomik etkililik, İGE değeri gibi
kalkınma unsurlarında etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada
elde edilen değerlere göre bilişim teknolojilerinin hem bireysel hem de
toplumsal açıdan ekonomik büyüme ve refah artışını etkilediği anlaşılmıştır.
