DEMAND FORECAST FOR THE NUMBER OF EMERGENCY PATIENTS WITH LINEAR REGRESSION: AN APPLICATION ON BINGOL STATE HOSPITAL
Abstract
In order for organizations to understand events correctly, they must develop strategies, plan in accordance with the goals they have determined, and be in a continuous improvement cycle for development. Organizations need to estimate demand for any product or phenomenon at a future time by making forecasts. That's why demand forecasting is an indispensable element for organizations.Demand forecasting is becoming increasingly important in the healthcare sector. Problems occurring in the health system can lead to some problems at the social level. Therefore, planning for the future is an important element in the health sector. Therefore, it was deemed necessary to conduct this study. For this purpose, demand estimation of Bingöl state hospital emergency patient numbers was made by linear regression method.
