Abstract
Poetry works of the classical period have their own characteristics. These works, which were written in a certain style, differ from the previous and later period poetry works with their internal and external integrity. Classical period literature examples of Allah and at begins with the praise of the Prophet and continues with the praise of the sultan to whom the work is dedicated. In classical works, especially belief in Allah is of great importance. At the same time, the love of the Prophet is an indispensable part of classical literature. “Miraj of the Prophet”, the Prophet titles such as “Glamor for Muhammad” are parts of the love of the Prophet, which is very common in classical Azerbaijani poetry. In these sections, the poets revealed their worlds of thought. They believe that belief in Allah is superior to other beliefs based on narrative, philosophical and logical evidence and that they emphasized that Mohammad was the last prophet. One of the greatest representatives of classical Azerbaijani literature is undoubtedly Nizami Ganjavi. He is one of the great classics of not only Azerbaijani literature, but also world literature. One of the features that distinguishes Nizami Ganjavi from other Turkish poets is that he wrote “Hamse” (meaning quintet) in Azerbaijani-Turkish literature for the first time. At the same time, “Hamsa” is of great importance in terms of belief in Allah and the love of the Prophet. In this study, Nizami Ganjavi's “Hamsa” will be evaluated in many ways, his original ideas declaring his love for God and the prophet will be determined and subjected to research.
