Since the joint stock company is a capital company,
capital is significant both in terms of partners, both of the company and its
customers. The Turkish Commercial Code, No. 6102, considers the sum of the
capital and legal reserves as a guarantee for these people. The loss of 2/3
part due to damage to the capital is regulated in article 376/2. The law brings
some obligations to the board of directors in the event of a loss, and offers
two alternative ways for the general board to overcome this situation.
