Ebe Liderliğinde Postpartum Bakım

Abstract

Postpartum dönem maternal ve neonatal morbidite ve mortalite için riskli bir dönemdir. Bu bakımdan postpartum dönemde bakım hayati önem taşımaktadır. Postpartum bakım sayesinde, anne ve yenidoğanda anormal bulgu saptandığında, gerekli müdahale uygulanarak anne ve bebek ölümünün önüne geçilebilmektedir. Postpartum bakım, antenatal dönemden başlamalı ve kişiselleştirilmiş olmalıdır. Postpartum bakım izlemleri için örgütlerin farklı önerileri bulunmakla birlikte ortalama doğum sonu 6-12 haftalık süreci kapsamaktadır. İzlemlerin sıklığı kadının gereksinimleri, örgüt önerileri, geleneksel bakım sunumuna göre değişmektedir. Postpartum bakımda en önemli rol, kadınla sürekli etkileşim halinde olan ebelere düşmektedir. Gebelikten doğum sonu döneme kadar, kadınların ihtiyaçlarına ve kültürel yapısına uygun bireyselleştirilmiş ebelik bakımı, anne-bebek sağlığını iyileştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Bu hedefe ulaşmak ebe liderliğinde postpartum bakım ile mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu derleme, ebe liderliğinde postpartum bakımı incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.

Midwife-Led Care in Postpartum

Abstract

The postpartum period is a precarious period for maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality. In this regard, it is vital that care in the postpartum period. Through postpartum care, when abnormal findings are detected in the mother and newborn, the necessary intervention can be applied to prevent maternal and infant death. Postpartum care should start from the antenatal period and should be personalized. Although organizations have different recommendations for postpartum care follow-up, it covers the average postpartum period of 6-12 weeks. The frequency of follow-ups changes according to women's needs, organizational recommendations, and traditional care delivery. The most important role in postpartum care falls to the midwives who are in constant interaction with the woman. Individualized midwifery care which from pregnancy to the postpartum period, in accordance with the needs and cultural structure of women is aimed that improving mother-infant health.
