About the Education and Technology in Information Science
Education and Technology in Information Science is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online-only journal published by Atatürk University. The journal is published biannual in both Turkish and English, with articles released in June, and December.
Aims, Scope, and Audience
Education and Technology in Information Science aims to publish interdisciplinary basic and applied studies of the highest scientific quality on education and technology in the field of library and information science.
Education and Technology in Information Science, publishes original research articles, discussions and book reviews, especially in the field of library and information science. The main purpose of the journal is to contribute to the development of the field of library and information science at the national and international level, to examine its problems and to offer solutions to these problems. In doing so, the journal aims to bring together researchers, educational practitioners and policy makers at a common intersection. The journal focuses on research that contributes to solving education and technology problems, improving the quality of education and producing new knowledge.
The target audience of the journal consists of researchers who are interested in or working in the field of library and information and related disciplines.
To guarantee that all papers published in the journal are maintained and permanently accessible, articles are stored in Dergipark which serves as a national archival web site and at the same time permits LOCKSS to collect, preserve, and serve the content.
