ZERANOL İMPLANTE EDİLEN PUBERTAL DÖNEMDEKİ ESMER IRK ERKEK DANALARIN TESTİS, EPİDİDİMİS ve EKLENTİ BEZLERİNDE GÖRÜLEN HİSTOPATOLOJİK DEGİŞİKLİKLER

Abstract

Bu çalışma, besi hayvanlarında anabalik olarak
kullanılan zeranal implantasyonunun esmer ırk erkek
danaların genital organlarmda sebep olduğu değişiklikleri
tespit etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Çalışmada kullanılan 6-9 aylık 23 baş esmer ırk
erkek dana, Kontrol, Deneme I ve Deneme II olmak üzere 3
gruba ayrıldı. Çalışmanın başlangıcında Deneme I ve
Deneme II grubuna 36 mg, bundan 65 gün sonra Deneme II
grubuna ikinci bir 36 mg zeranal kulak dersi altına implante
edildi. Deneme I ve Deneme II grubundan 5'er baş dana implantasyondan
135, kalanları ise 206 gün sonra kesildi.
Zeranal implante edilen danalarda tubulus seminiferus
çaplarmda küçülme, spermatogeneziste gecikme, epididimislerde
interduktal bağ dokuda ve duktus epididimislerin kas
tabakasında artış, prostat, gl. vesikularis ve gl. bulbourcthraliste
alveoler yapıda azalma ile interalveoler dokuda artış
tespit edildi.
Zeranal implantasyonunu 6 aydan büyük danalarda
cinsel fonksiyanda yetersizliklere yol açabileceği fakat bu etkisinin
prepubertal döneme kıyasla azaldığı kanısına
varıldı.

Histopathological changes in the testes, epididimis and accessory sex glands of pubertal brown swiss male bulls zeranol implanted

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine
the effects of zeranal implantation that had been used as an
anabolic agent on the reproductive tract in the Brown Swiss
male bulls.
Twenty three Brown Swiss bulls, 6-9 months old,
were used in this study. These bulls were divided into three
groups; Control, Group I and Group II. 36 mg zeranal was
implanted subcutaneously .at the base of ear of bulls in Group
I and Group II at the beginning of the experiment and the
same dose was reimplanted to Group II 65 days after the first
implantation.
Implantation of zeranal to the bulls induced histopathological
changes on the reproductive tract, which included;
reduction in the diameter of seminiferous tubules and delayed
sperınatogenezis in the testes, inercaseel interductal conncctive
tissue and muscular layer of the d. epididimis in the epididimites,
augmented interalveoler connective tissue and reducecl alveoler
development in the prostate, vesicular glands and bulbouretlrral
glands.
It may be concluded that the implantation of zeranal
would cause incufficiency at sexual breed function in bulls
after 6 months of age.
