Serological researches for parainfluenza type 3 virus infection in the cattle of Konya Agriculture Management
Abstract
A disease progressed with respiratoric symptoms in the
cattle of Konya Agriculture Management was serologically determined as
PIV- 3 disease. With this aim, the 79 cattle blood sera were collected and
examined for antibodies to PIV- 3 by microneutralisation test. At the
end of the microneutralisation test, at a dilution of 1:5, the 40 (50.63%)
cattle blood sera were found. for the neutralizing antibodies to PIV- 3.

Abstract
Konya Tarım İşletmesi sığırlarında solunum yolu semptomları
ile seyreden bir hastalık, serolajik yönden PIV- 3 hastalığı olarak saptandı.
Bu amaçla, toplanan 79 adet sığır kan serumu PIV- 3'e karşı mikronötralizasyon
testi ile kontrol edildi. Test sonunda, 40 adet kan serumu
(%50.63) 1: 5 serum sulandırmasında, PIV- 3'e karşı nötralizan antikorlar
yönünden pozitif bulundu.
