Liderlikte Kutsal Kavramı Ve Buna İlişkin Eğitim Yöneticilerinin Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, liderlik çalışmalarında kullanılmak üzere “kutsal” teriminin sosyolojik açıklamasını ve bir yükseköğretim kurumunda nasıl algılandığının örneklemesini sağlamaktadır. Liderlik ve örgütsel kültürün sekülerize tanımına uygun olmak üzere, sosyoloji alanından alınan kutsallık tanımının eğitim yöneticileri tarafından nasıl kullanıldığını irdelemektedir. Kutsal, bir bireyin daha büyük ve kollektif bir bütünle bağlantı hissetme deneyimiyle ilgili olan, doğaüstü bir fenomen olarak anlaşılmaktadır. Bu makale, kutsalın örgütsel duyarlılık, bağlılık ve kimlikle olan ilişkisini ve aynı zamanda liderlik kavramının sosyal inşası için de gerekli olup olmadığını araştırmaktadır. Kutsal, bireylere örgütte derinlemesine saygı ve güven içinde sonuçlanan toplu olarak oluşturulmuş bir yorumlayıcı çerçeve sağlamaktadır. Bu çerçevenin sonucu, kuruluşun liderlik yapılandırmasının ahlaki olarak haklı göründüğü ve kuruluşun anlatılarının meşru olduğudur. Kutsal sistem aynı zamanda bireylerin kurumsal sembolleri organizasyonlarındaki diğer insanlarla aynı doğrultuda yorumlamalarını sağlayan bir mekanizmadır. Yönetim ve örgütsel çalışma alanlarına hem teorik hem de pratik bir katkı sağlamak açısından makale, sosyolojik bir teorinin, bilim adamları ve uygulayıcılara karşı yeni normatif liderlik yaklaşımları oluşturmada nasıl yardımcı olabileceğine dair de bilgi sağlamaktadır.
