ASSESSMENTS OF THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) OUTPUT ON THE ACTIVITY SECTORS OF BUSINESSES

Abstract

In this study, the effects of the coronavirus epidemic, which emerged in 2019 and continued in 2020, 2021, on 12 selected business sectors operating in Turkey were evaluated. The COVID-19 epidemic has affected our country economically, socially, and socially, affecting consumption habits and changing the supply-demand balance between producers and consumers. While various situations such as curfews, travel restrictions, and breaks in social activities, carried out to prevent the epidemic, cause changes in the demands of the consumer, various situations such as the remote work of the labor market, the change in the physical working system of the employees as a result of the distance rules, and the interruption of production of some enterprises cause changes in the supply of the manufacturer. caused it to live. At this point, the government aimed to limit the negative effects of the COVID-19 epidemic with various applications such as financial expansion programs, wage subsidies, and financial support. Within the scope of this study, the pre-and post-epidemic situations of selected business sectors operating in the Turkish economy were examined by giving statistics.
