Öz

Amaç: Major depresyon toplumda sıkça karşılaşılan bir psikiyatrik bozukluktur. Birçok faktör suçlanmakla birlikte etyolojisi henüz tam olarak aydınlatılamamıştır. Bu çalışmamızda anjiyotensin dönüştürücü enzim (ADE) insersiyon (I)\ delesyon (D) polimorfizmi ile major depresyon arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırdık.
