An unusual case of foreign body appendicitis secondary to haricot bean

Abstract

Appendicitis is an endemic disease that may be seen in all age groups. Foreign bodies have occasionally been reported in the etiopathogenesis and this is the first report, to our knowledge, where a haricot bean caused appendicitis. ©2008, Firat University, Medical Faculty.
